No More Side Hustle

If you’re currently running your business as a side hustle but want to make it more of a main hustle, I’ve got three tips for you that helped me grow my business to where it is today.

Tip #1: Make your business a priority.

If you want to grow your business, you need to take yourself seriously which means you need to give it the recognition and respect it deserves. Yes, you’re a mom. And yes, you’re a business owner. But they don’t have to be mutually exclusive.

When you make your business a priority, it doesn’t take away the fact that you’re a good mom or a good wife/partner. But you've got to give your business the respect and the recognition it deserves.

Tip #2: Set a schedule.

You need to create a schedule for when you’re going to work your business. If you’re a mom of young kids, this may require you hiring a sitter or enrolling your little ones in preschool or a mom’s day out. If you’ve got older kids, your schedule is probably a little bit easier to set. But whatever your situation, in order to grow your business, you’ve got to set a schedule.

Tip #3: Give yourself some grace.

You know what? You’re doing a great job. You’re a mom who’s either running a business already or you’re in the throws of beginning one. And as you shift your business into the forefront of your life, things may get messy… and I don’t just mean your house. LOL. But when you give yourself grace, you’re able to move beyond that messiness.

You CAN do this. You CAN make your side hustle a thriving business. You just have to commit and run with it. I’ll be right here cheering you on!!
