Valentine's Day

Truth. I’ve never really been a fan of Valentine’s Day. I know. What.

But today my sweet hubby surprised me with two dozen roses (OMG). I then went up to my kids’ school and witnessed the pure joy and happiness on the faces of those children BECAUSE it was Valentine’s Day.

So I started thinking… what is it about V-Day that I don’t like. And you know what? (OMG if you’re on the fence about whether or not you like me this may tip the scales.)

Well, it’s yet another day where I have to show up more than I already do. Yeah. I said it. (Whoa. It feels even worse writing it than thinking it. But it’s true.)

As moms we give SO MUCH all day every day. Then throw in a business and husband or partner into the mix and whoa. Right? BUT…

After this realization, I decided to change my mindset. Why? Well because it’s a negative one and with me being laaaaaaame about V-Day, I’m not making it any fun for my kids and hubby. Plus a negative mindset ONLY hurts. It doesn’t help. So mindset shift. Check.

And Happy Valentine’s My LOVES!!!
